The number of online supporters on www.freesunday eu has passed today the barrier of 12.000. The initiatior of the campaign "Mum and Dad belong to us on Sunday, MEP Martin Kastler, is convinced: "This huge echo is a clear sign, that Euoropean citizens are willing to really decide in Europe". For him, it is especially remarkable, that the supporters come from many countries across the European Union. According to Kastler, this shows the "truly European character" of the first European Citizens´ Initiative".
